Welcome to SLY Sailing, this is the website with the information for those racing and sailing on sly and our family and friends.  SLY is an Xp44 Sailboat in Annapolis. The boat was new in 2014 and formerly named Rival and had won the Annapolis to Bermuda Race in 2015. I purchased the in May of 2018, 28 days before the start of the 2018 Annapolis to Bermuda Race in early June. We took line honors and corrected to 4th place on the PHRF handicap. Back in Business, ...well almost!

SLY is back in the water. We put the Offshore main on and it looked pretty good, shows some use, but appears to be worthy. Friday it was cold with a great breeze. We attempted to calibrate the instruments but found the Analog Expansion Module was shot and we were not getting any wind or boat speed data.

SLY is signed up for the 2020 Newport to Bermuda Race

SLY is signed up for the 2029 Newport to Bermuda Race. The 2020 SLY racing Schedule has been posted and we are in the process of finalizing the crew and getting commitments. The legs are as follows: May 14-17 - Deliver the boat from Annapolis, MD to Stamford, CT May 21-25 - Block Island Races June 13-14 - Deliver the boat from Stamford, CT to Newport, RI June 19 - 24 - Newport to Bermuda Race June 27 - Jul 2 - Delivery Bermuda to Annapolis
