Working Out the Kinks

We left Back Creek in a thick fog and we couldn't see very much of anything. We got the sails up and headed SE, beating into the Southerly breeze, as we headed across the Bay the fog slowly lifted, but everything remained gray. We got some great sailing in 10-12 knots of steady breeze from the south with some great symmetrical spinnaker work. For it being so early in the season everyone did a great job, without any of the usual early season mistakes. Next week is our first race.
